Ms Kathi broke her arm last week. And in addition to several handmade gift well cards and pictures, you have been very concerned for her well being, praying for God to heal her at every meal and every other prayer time we have. I love your sweetness, darling Blue.

But I had to shake my head when you came back from across the street, delivering a picture to her, and promptly stole things from your brother and otherwise treated in full oppressive big-sister manner. Translate sweetness to all--especially little brothers.

I'm having a hard time reconciling myself to how you're growing up so quickly. This morning I came out (we are off duty), and you were nicely playing with your brother, completely dressed already, busy planning out your day. My tiny toddler is all gone and a little girl is in her place, opinionated, driven, and charming (except when you're fighting with your brother...ahem).

February 5, 2015

You stayed up and watched the Superbowl with us on Sunday (minus the halftime show, as that really wasn't fit for anybody to view!).

You've grown up so much in the last few months, little Blueberry of mine.A few months ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of letting you stay up that late, knowing that you would be a cranky mess the next day.

But you handled the experience beautifully. Playing nicely with your magnetic dolls and doing another doll's hair. You were bubbly and happy, and would cheer when we cheered, occasionally crying out, "Go 'Hawks!"

And of course you partook in the delicious food because, let's face it, the Superbowl is really just an excuse for a party with yummy food.

And this year, I didn't find any fingerprints in the brownies. Last year, I put the brownies out on the table, and came back a few minutes later to find you had carefully dipped a little finger into the center of each brownie square and was enjoying quite a little chocolatey feast.
